Hello! I have this concern.. Is it possible to output the sound from the XP KVM to the host sound card? THe sound card is built in by the way.. Just need to play music remotely since I'm planning to plug in an amplifier to the audio jack of the HOST PC.

If possible...please tell me how. Thank you!

Qem/KVm has thart "--soundhw" switch:

Code:
# kvm --soundhw help
Unknown sound card name `help'
Valid sound card names (comma separated):
pcspk PC speaker
sb16 Creative Sound Blaster 16
ac97 Intel 82801AA AC97 Audio
es1370 ENSONIQ AudioPCI ES1370

You can pass such arguments by manually editing the config file in /etc/qem/XYZ.conf, adding something like:

Code:
args: --soundhw ac97

But I never really tested that.
