Slow performance with WD RE 2tb

I just changed my WD Green drives with two new WD RE 2TB. They are in raid 1. But if i create a samba share inside a VM(KVM) i only get around 50-60 mb/s how can this be? I also get around 50-60 with various disk benchmark tools (inside a VM) I'm running a new installation of Proxmox 4.1
