We have two Proxmox v3.1-21 systems with 200 days uptime where /usr/sbin/sfcbd is now consuming 30GB RAM on both nodes.

Is it safe to restart (or kill) this process? What does it do?

The file "/usr/sbin/sfcbd" is not part of a normal proxmox ve installation, so I assume you installed that yourselves?

Thanks for your reply.

I'm certain I did not install sfcbd. sfcbd seems to be some daemon for embedded systems...

If not part of proxmox I guess it's safe to disable it?

Update: Turns out that sfcbd is installed with Dell Open Manage. I admit to installing that :)

Process disabled without issue.
