[TUTORIAL] Setting up opnsense on Proxmox

Greetings, I have a fiber router OEM that doesn't support vlans. I'm guessing someone here is a lot wiser than me when it comes to networking so hoping someone can point me the right direction.

Router/Modem: Technicolor Telia router(fiber)
Pve1: Connected to my router, only one nic
Attached is a screenshot of my network interfaces as configured in pve1 and the hardware set on my opnsense VM.
vlan10 uses vlan raw device vmbr0, as does vlan20

Opnsense:
LAN(vtnet0) -> v4: 192.168.10.1/24(works)
WAN(vtnet1) -> v4:192.168.1.101(doesnt work, does not get IP)

Would it work if I simply removed the WAN(vlan10) interface and used vmbr0 for network connectivity on opnsense?
