Hi,

I have a public IPv4 subnet with me, say: 10.11.12.0/24
The internet interface is eth0 which is a assigned to the bridge vmbr0.
The IP addressed to the bridge is 10.11.12.2/29 and the gateway is 10.11.12.1

Now I intend to create bridges like:
vmbr0128 with IP 10.11.12.129/30,
vmbr0132 with IP 10.11.12.133/30

The intention is to create guests for different clients in each bridge so that the guest can have the public IP assigned directly instead of assigning a private IP and doing NAT. But unfortunately I see that the guest is reaching out to internet only with the IP of the host 10.11.12.2 after getting MASQUERADED. From internet also, I am able to ping the bridge IPs like 10.11.12.129, 10.11.12.133 but not the guest IPs like 10.11.12.130, 10.11.12.134 in their respective bridge networks.

Any help or pointer in this direction would be greatly appreciated. I am well versed with Linux and IPtables but have not worked much on bridges or eatables(not sure if eatables is at all required).

Thanks,
Uttam
