Root on LVM

Hi! I've installed Proxmox VE 2.x on a fresh Debian Squeeze.
I've only created a VG0 for backup and VZ on top of RAID1 (software).
The / is installed on RAID1 without being in any LVM partition.

Is this a problem? Why proxmox default installer put the / on a LV?

Thanks
