Replaced disks in root pool with larger disks. How to resize?

I replaced the disks in my ZFS root pool with larger SSD drives following the Tips and Tricks here: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/ZFS:_Tips_and_Tricks

The process went smooth and so far no issues, but the partitions are still the same size as the originals. How do I resize the partitions to take advantage of the new space?

One way is to
- set autoexpand=on for your pool
- detach ONE disk
- resize your partitions manually with parted (rm 9, resizepart 2 -1)
- attach that detached disk again
- wait until resilvered and do the other disk(s)
