Read-only error appears again and again [installed on 8GB USB-drive]

Hello,

we recieve following massage again and again:
/(output by Shell)

Fehler starting worker failed: unable to create output file '/var/log/pve/tasks/7/UPID:wtspmx03:00012906:0221C15D:5024F407:vncshell::root@pam:' - Read-only file system (500)

after this VM is not able to reboot or restart. We have to kill the powersupply everytime,
any idea what could cause this or even an idea how to solve that?

you run a cluster and you lost quorum? or is this just a single host (with a full or bad USB stick?)

Your root file system on USB is mounted read-only. Usually due to errors on the USB drive?.

I can't recommand you to use usb key for proxmox, they are a lot of writes occuring (rrds stats by exemples).

I have tried last year, and burn 2 keys in 3months on usage.
