Hello @ all,

can enyone tell me how much RAM I should reserve for the node itself?
So let's say I have 64GB of RAM. How much of them can I assign to KVM Machines?

Is all the "Free RAM" in Dashboard shown, available for VMs?

Regards
Andreas

hi,

1gb for the host is ok, but please note that if you use vms (not container) each vm needs a little additional memory which is not available in the guest (about 5-10%) so if you have a vm with 1GB, consider it using 1.05 - 1.1 GB
