Hello everybody,

I am sure this is a stupid question for someone who is daily working with linux.

I have PVE 3.1 running with 2 VMs. One VM is my firewall which is connected to the internet. If I shutdown this VM then proxmox does not have internet access. But I need to shutdown the VMs if I want to upgrade proxmox.

So it would be good if you can tell me the way / commands how to download all updates without installation. Then I can shutdown all VMs and install the updates when beeing offline.

Thank you for your help!

install the updates, then shutdown the guest and reboot the host to activate the kernel.
