With PVE2.3 qcow2 is the default format for VM-Harddisks.
Why?
Is there a advantage to use it?
In the past we often had corrupted qcow files with KVM.
We switched to Proxmox, PVE 2.2, with iSCSI Storage as 3-Node HA Cluster. We use the RAW Disk Format and this performs well.
Although it is easy to resize VGs.
Is there any reason switching to qcow2?
