When installing Proxmox mail gateway in a virtual environment, is it better to install on VE vs vmware -- or does it work equally well in either environment.

We are a vmware shop, open to trying new things.
Proxmox Mailgateway works just fine in various hypervisors, PVE is naturally a very good fit (both as VM or even as CT), but we've got users running it in VMWare, Xen and other hypervisors.

The only issue for non PVE hypervisors, not affecting you, would be Hyper-V Generation 2 Guest (Gen 1 works just fine)
And the "Hyper-V Gen2" issues seem to come from some missing HyperV modulesin our kernel which then blocks the ISO from starting up correctly, I did some shallow debugging but other things came into the way for now, (just as info for other reading this)
