I just did a clean/fresh install of Proxmox VE 2.2 on a server today that was previously running Proxmox VE 2.1 without issue. When I went to run apt-get update one of the messages I got said:

GPG error: ftp us debian org URL (Don't know if you can post URL's here) squeeze Release: The following signatures were invalid: BADSIG AED4B06F473041FA Debian Archive Automatic Signing Key (6.0/squeeze) ftpmaster debian org

Has anyone else seen this, and if so, is there a fix? Thanks!

Nathan

try another debian mirror.

Thank you for the quick response Tom! Forgive me for asking but is there a specific mirror I should be referring to, to replace with? I apologize for even asking as I don't have a support contract and am just working on a trial to purchase right now. I'm not really a Debian guy / more Redhat & CentOS. I've never had problems with the sources before so I just never had any experience with it.

Am I incorrect in assuming this should also affect others as the sources list comes with your install right? So if you or anyone may have some suggestions as to what to replace it with I imagine this could potentially help more than just me...if I'm understanding it correctly. Thanks!

Hi,
Tom wrote another "debian mirror" not pve-mirror.
There a a lot of debian mirrors - I use this:
Code:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian squeeze main contrib

# PVE packages provided by proxmox.com
deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian squeeze pve

# security updates
deb http://security.debian.org/ squeeze/updates main contrib

I just wanted to +1 this. For some reason the US mirror causes this GPG error when doing apt-get update. I changed it to use the Canada mirror and it worked just fine. I have sent an email to the Debian mirror and ftpadmin role email addresses showing the symptoms, maybe it will be fixed soon.
