Proxmox Updates

HI,
I don't know if anyone else experienced the same problems when updating packages today, but all three sever I use show the same resolvable error when starting upgrading:
apt-get update && apt-get upgrade
Calculating upgrade... The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
libfile-copy-recursive-perl libhdb9-heimdal python-dnspython samba samba-dsdb-modules samba-vfs-modules tdb-tools update-inetd
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.

libsmbclient libwbclient0 python-samba samba samba-common samba-common-bin samba-dsdb-modules samba-libs samba-vfs-modules smbclient

as recommended solves the problem.

pls follow the update howto:
http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Downloads#Update_a_running_Proxmox_Virtual_Environment_4.x_to_latest_4.1

=> apt-get dist-upgrade (and not "apt-get upgrade")

and yes, apt-get -f install fixes the small problem. these packages are provided from the standard Debian repos.

This is a bug in a Debian security update for samba: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=820989 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=821002
Fixed packages should hit the Debian repositories soon..

Ah, thanks for the advice. Server are already running on 4.1.
I use normally the update routine in the proxmox web interface but switched then to the ssh shell.

pls follow the update howto:
