Proxmox Storage?

Hi i need to extend the /var/lib/vz to the 4 hard drives i got so i can have a directory for openvz and vms and iso

i have 4 hdds

but i have now go them partitions when i click osd nothing happend i tryed doing cfdisk and fdisk /dev/sdb and lvm and it make it say partition and dont extend it any help thanks

Do you want to use Ceph storage? Have you read this https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Ceph_Server?

Do you want to have a certified and supported system? Then buy a hardware raid controller or use ZFS over all disks to have a software based raid (I hope you want RAID x with x > 0).

no just directors i mounted then as a /mnt/ is that ok
