Hi Everybody,

My proxmox servers specifications;
CPU : I5 2400 3.1 Ghz
Mainboard : Intel DQ67OW
Ram : 4 x Kingston 8 Gb DDR3 1600 Mhz
Disk : 2 x Kingston UV400 480 GB ( Xfs Raid 1 ) and Hitachi 2 TB Backup ext4

Proxmox versions: 4.4
Kernel versions : Linux proxmox-04 4.4.35-1-pve #1 SMP Fri Dec 9 11:09:55 CET 2016 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I installed 8 ProxMox servers and these servers have the same hardware.

2 servers do not answer at intervals.

Ping can not get an answer and black screen when I want to enter with keyboard. The server seems to be in a sleep mode but the server is not in sleep mode. I need to restart the server.

There is no such problem with other servers

I did not see any abnormalities in the logs.

What should I do,can you help me

Thanks,
Best Regards.

please update your hosts to the newest version and see if this solves your problem
the kernel version you use has known issues with the oom-killer

Will be a final question,

Upgrating with apt-get dist-upgrade on a proxmox server with virtual servers creates a problem ?

no, this is the standard upgrade method for proxmox ve
please note that a kernel upgrade requires a reboot, else the new kernel will not be loaded

Thanks for you information.

I've updated a server. I will examine it tomorrow. Tomorrow I will update other servers according to the situation

Hi Dcsapak,

this is my problem;

" Ping can not get an answer and black screen when I want to enter with keyboard. The server seems to be in a sleep mode but the server is not in sleep mode. I need to restart the server. "
