This is probably a stupid/newbie question.

I plan on having a "remote" productive- and a "local" in-house- Proxmov environment.

Question: What is the recommended way to move Debian & Ubuntu appliances from one to the other environment?

Hi,
recommended is backup/restore. But you can also use other things like rsync...
