As above. Ive just replaced my "starter" system which was an Optiplex 3050, 32gb, wireless, bluetooth, 500gb SSD and a 2TB sata drive. Running a couple of VMs (Home assistant and PiHole resulted in a 7w idle power draw which was insanely brilliant.
Ive upgraded to a Dell Precision 3260 Compact with an Nvidia A2000 video card, 64gb of memory and at the moment a 2tb NVme drive with plans to fit another one as well. Current power draw on the same VM's is 35w. So, still pretty good. Im running a very much out of the box setup for ProxMox - are there any extra powersaving tools, commands etc etc to bring the idle power down. I appreciate its not going to get anywhere near the Optiplex but anything i can save would be great at idle.
Cheers.
