I am reinstalling proxmox and I would want to completely rewrite /dev/pve/root, while keeping /dev/pve/data and other logical volumes which keep my LXCs.
As far as I understand, the current installer completely destroys the LV group and rewrites it from scratch, effectively destroying everything that is on the disk.
Can someone push this idea to proxmox developers?
(i understand that I could install over a debian, but the iso installer is just too easy and very fast).
