Proxmox Installation on Debian Jessie - libnettle4

Hello,

i tried to install proxmox as host on my home server. Due to my software raid and lvm setup i need to install proxmox on debian. I'm using debian stretch/jessie. The package pve-qemu-kvm has libnettle4 as a dependency, but unfortunately in debian repos there is only libnettle6. Is this a known bug or am i missing a point? Honestly i'm not quite familiar with apt, i am more used to arch/pacman.

Also libgnutls-deb0-28 and libpng12-0 are not installable, but this could be a stable/unstable repo issue.

Any workaround?

Well, most likely i'm doing it wrong, BUT: i downloaded an installed libnettle4 from https://packages.debian.org/wheezy-backports/amd64/libnettle4/download (one of the servers). Then i ran into same problem with netcat6, so i added some repositories (see attached sources.list).

Im still getting errors: (see not_installed).

Could please somebody provide a correct source.list/mirror list configuration for installing proxmox on debian jessie? This would be a great commitment to all debian noobs like me, who whould love to try out proxmox!

I'm using debian stretch/jessie.

which is it ? stretch or jessie? proxmox ve only work on debian jessie for now
as far as i can see here (https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=libnettle) libnettle6 is on stretch only,
so it seems you tried to install on stretch

Ah, i see. I thought stretch is a testing/unstable version of jessie. This was wrong (https://www.debian.org/releases/testing/), it's the next major release AFTER Jessie. Thanks you!
