Proxmox Installation in 2 physical CPU

Hi,

I would like to inquire if this possible in proxmox 3.3 version:
-I have a server with CPU's(8 cores), so since I have 2 CPU(physical) after the installation the core that I have will be 16 cores? Right?

Correct. But why do you want to use PVE 3.3? It's way too old. You should use 5.X

thanks, btw what the 1 cpu fails? my proxmox will fail too?

In any case, this not "CPU high availability". If a CPU or core or thread fails, it will end with a kernel panic. At best the server will restart with a blacklisted CPU.
