Hello,

what difference does it make if I configure the Proxmox firewall zone for VM or set iptables in the VM?

Greetings
fluxx

If you use the Proxmox Firewall, you can manage it from the Proxmox GUI. So the VM user cannot change firewall rules from inside the VM.

I have problems to configure the firewall for VMs.
The firewall configuration for cluster and host works.

Are the following settings possible to test the basic function?
All traffic will be passed now or not?

Currently when firewall is enabled on the network adapter, nothing works.

Network adapter (net0) firewall checkbox checked.

102.FW

[OPTIONS]

enable: 1

policy_in: ACCEPT

Best regards,
fluxx
