Hello,

is it possible to create a cluster with different hardware/servers?

Best regards

I haven't had any issue with it. My test cluster was made up of 4 old IBM servers and 2 old Dell servers with an old fibre channel storage array.

Haven't seen any issues, even migrating VMs between the different CPUs (Dual-Core AMD Opterons and Xeon 5110s).

yes the cluster has no knowledge of the hardware beneath the cluster software itself - if you are planning on running vastly different server configs/specs then you probably want to look at failover domains to make sure HA vm's failover correctly to the right servers in your farm
