Hello,

I found some guides on how to install Proxmox on a separate piece of media from the VM's. This seems to actually be the best practice.
My question is how do I install Proxmox on a single hard drive, and then put my 2 VM's on that same hard drive. Is there a guide for this? I've tried winging it, but failed.

If you use our official ISO to install Proxmox VE, you will just get that.
Simply select ext4 or XFS as filesystem and your desired disk. It will then create a LVM on a single disk, allocate some space for / root partition and the rest for guests.
