tried installing a couple of times proxmox a fresh AMD Epyc with Debian 9.4. The installation fails with the following message, any thoughts?

dpkg: error processing package pve-manager (--configure):

subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of proxmox-ve:

proxmox-ve depends on pve-manager; however:

Package pve-manager is not configured yet.

dpkg: error processing package proxmox-ve (--configure):

dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

Errors were encountered while processing:

pve-manager

proxmox-ve

E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

This is not epyc related. If you look at the entire output there should be hints as to why it failed. either you're trying to fix a broken installation or your hostname and hosts file entry are not resolving correctly. or both.
