proxmox 2.2 cant install ubuntu12.04

I have installed proxmox2.2 and went and downloaded ubuntu-standard-12.04 via the templates section, and i cant login via the console.
I also have proxmox 2.1 installed on virtual-box and every thing is working just fine there, and then i installed proxmox on virtual-box as well and its doing the same thing as my main server is.
so what is so different in 2.2 vs 2.1 that would not allow ubuntu to install/startup

so to recap here is whats happening
download the template it creates it just fine.
cant login via the console tab. just see a black screen

on 2.1
doing the same step's every thing works as intended.


PS: tried out of curiosity and i installed all oses via the template's section, and all of them are doing the same thing .. cant login via console ( just a black screen. ) (2.2)

so what am i doing wrong here?

thanks for the information, but it didn't solve the issue, but there was a command on the wiki

( vzctl enter CTID )
that allowed me to set up the networking ( eth0 ) to login via ssh.
