I am following the instructions in the video https://www.proxmox.com/en/training/video-tutorials/item/install-windows-2016-server-on-proxmox-ve

When I am using the latest virtio scsi drivers for 2K16 but I cannot pick the main drive to install on. I get the following error: "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu." Here is a screen capture http://prntscr.com/licv66

I am stuck. Anyone have any suggestions how to proceed?

post your:

> pveversion -v
> qm config VMID

and your ISO version (windows).

FWIW, I switched the disk to IDE and it seems to be working now. Is there much of a performance hit between the two?
