Hello,

my Server running Proxmox consists of one SSD and three HDDs.
The SSD has the Proxmox and the VMs and the data is on the HDDs.
As you can see here sda is the SSD.
pvdisplay
--- Physical volume ---
PV Name /dev/sda3
VG Name pve
PV Size 446.88 GiB / not usable 4.82 MiB
Allocatable yes
PE Size 4.00 MiB
Total PE 114400
Free PE 4052
Allocated PE 110348
PV UUID WwEjHV-43V2-sA8b-MsET-JN7P-aQT3-jI5lB4

pvscan
PV /dev/sda3 VG pve lvm2 [446.88 GiB / 15.83 GiB free]
Total: 1 [446.88 GiB] / in use: 1 [446.88 GiB] / in no VG: 0 [0 ]
One of the HDDs (sdc) is just 1TB and I want to remove it and put in a new drive.
Now I put a "#" in the fstab so the drive sdc1 is not mounted.
Proxmox and the VMs are still running perfectly when rebooting now.
What irritates me is that in the admin GUI of the pve in the "disks" section it still shows the sdc drive and it shows "partitions" but that is just irritating.
What frustrates me is that when I shut down the server and reboot it after disconnecting the drive it boots into maintenance mode and shows the appended problems.

What am I doing wrong with the LVM management? And why is there a problem although sdc1 is nowhere mentioned in the LVM?

Thank you very much in advance
