Poor Throughput On Host + Guest

Not sure exactly what is going on, did a standard ProxMox install. This machine is on a Gige line and it looks like one thread can only hit between 1-2Mbytes per sec.

I tested a different Debian Squeeze machine on the same switch that can max out the line.
Anyone have any ideas?
