There are some header/signature tests, but we do not scan into PDF Files currently.
But PDF Scanning will be included in one of the next versions.

i don't would like to be impatient, but when do you think is the new version released?
We have quite a few spam mails with PDF attachments.

Hi,
Currently there is no single solution available to detect pdf spam. Most pdf spam emails are detected by the mix of available filtering technologies like razor, RBL, helo checks, bayesian, receiver verification etc.
In the next release of Proxmox (scheduled for November 07) we will update a lot of components and rules.
if you need help to optimize your Proxmox I suggest you open a support ticket at support@proxmox.com and we will see what we can do (via remote access).
tom, we've made use of the PDFassassin plug-in for SA.
just load it via /etc/mail/spamassassin/custom.cf, apt-get install gocr xpdf, edit Pdf.pm, change pathing to suit and re-read SA config.
Be aware that doing this type of thing makes it a non-standard install.
the module is beta, but it has worked great for us, its stop these darm things right in their tracks....

thanks for this, we know this rule but there are also others. We will integrate these in the standard product as soon as these looks stable. please take care when you update your proxmox the next time as you moved away from the standard installation.
