Sorry to post this here, but I am having difficulties posting to this forum. No matter what browser I use (Firefox, Chrome, IE), all line breaks get lost - resulting in unreadable text, when the post is longer. I have paid subscriptions, but the forum is pretty useless for me if my posts get messed up. Im using Windows O/S. Thanks for your assistance.

The simple solution for your problem is not to use https but plain http. Why there is a difference I have no idea but since this annoying bug has been there for ages I wonder whether solving this requires a total rewrite of the forum code.
