Hello,

I'm quite new with Proxmox and I'm amazed by the high level of integration reached with this tool. Congratulation to all the team.

Currently we are testing Proxmox VE 1.4 beta1 and up to now we have not found any critical issue. The only problem we found is about images from OpenVZ site: they do not appears on the template drop down as happens for the Proxmox-downlaoded templates.

The issue was not present on the 1.3 version of Proxmox, where we succesfully uploaded and started Openvz-downloaded templates. We are wrong somewhere or something has changed?

Many thanks,
Andrea

I will verify that on Monday - seems to be a problem with the template naming as already reported in this forum.

confirmed bug, we will fix it.

Rename it. It should fit into the new template naming scheme:

<OS>-<OSVERSION>-<NAME>_<VERSION>_<ARCH>.tar.gz

for example: "ubuntu-8.04-standard_8.04-1_i386.tar.gz"

no luck here, using proxmox beta 2. i've just named two files:
ubuntu-8.04-standard_8.04-1_i386.tar.gz
and
centos-5.1-minimal_5.1_i386.tar.gz

When i say create, type container, the template dropdown is empty.

any ideas?

Hello, thanks for a great product! First post..

I'm still having this issue with Proxmox VE 1.4b2.

Tried renaming the template files with no luck. All my downloaded templates Descriptions show "--unknown--", and they're not available to choose when creating a new VM.

Can I untar/gzip the template file and modify anything to fix this?

I'm looking to get my Debian_5.0_x86_64 template to work.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for the reply.

Tried the upgrade from the repository. No luck.

It seems that 64bit hosts don't work.

Thanks,
Alex

That worked! I thought I had tried every combination to fit the filename convention, but I guess I hadn't tried "amd64" instead of "x86_64".

Much thanks...
