Hello,
sorry for my english
until a few days ago I had a NUC8i3 with ProxMox and I had installed Ubuntu 18.04 on a VM with Plex Server and I had followed this guide (sorry if you can't link, eventually I delete)
HD Transcoding Guide
and HW transcoding worked perfectly for me
Then I went to NUC8i7, I did the same procedure again but I still have problems:
when I create the VM with those parameters (q35, bios OVMF etc.) I start the VM, then I turn it off, I do ADD Hardware to add PCI device (always from that guide by putting the 3 ticks) and the console hangs on the error that I attach .

If instead I create the VM and add the PCI device without putting the 3 required ticks, it works but every 2/3 days I find Ubuntu freeze and I have to restart it to make it function again
Instead with the method of that guide, as I said, with the old NUC it worked very well and I had it on for weeks always on without freezing
