Hi all
I've got 3 x Windows Server 2012R2 VM with the following memory config:
Min memory: 6144 MB
Memory: 24576 MB
My physical machine has 64 GB RAM.
I've enabled ballooning, installed QEMU agent, installed the balloon service and driver on each VM.
One VM uses around 2.63 GB RAM idle which i can see in the summary page of a VM.
I'm not able to start all three machines at once (probably to memory shortage).
When i look at the summary page of the node, i see the following for 2 running VM's:
80.01% (50.28 GiB of 62.84 GiB)
Shouldn't that be around 6~7 GB RAM? Isn't that what's ballooning is used for?
Also shouldn't i been able to start the third VM with memory overcommitment / ballooning?
Cheers
