Hi.
Since i updated to Proxmox 7 i have a strange problem with my Pfsense VM. I have 2 intel nics (eth0 and eth2) used only by pfsense VM, one for lan and the other to wan. Sometimes when a reboot the server, pfsense interfaces get switched so my wan become my lan interface and the lan become the wan interface. Then, if i switch the cables on the interfaces i have internet access otherwise it does not work. But after another reboot it may switch back again. It looks like eth0 and eth2 are not always assigned to the same nic on reboot.

Thanks.

eth0, eth1, eth2 and so on aren't fixed and may change between boots. So you would need to make it persistent like this or use predictable interface names like here.

Thanks for your help.
If I install proxmox 7 from scratch on a new disk will it be fixed since interface naming will be updated?

Just renamed etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules, rebooted and the new predictable interface names came up. After adjusting my brigdes on proxmox interface everything is working fine. Will do more reboots for testing purposes.
