Hi all,

Trying proxmox 4.0b1 (L1) inside proxmox 3.4 (L0), I create a VM (L2).

With KVM acceleration enabled and default CPU (kvm64), this VM will NOT start :
warning: host doesn't support requested feature: CPUID.01H:EDX.vme [bit 1]
kvm: Host doesn't support requested features

With CPU=host, the VM starts (and Fedora 20 installs cleanly, fast! Network doesn't work even with e1000 for now, will see later).

This problem doesn't exist with pve 3.4 in pve 3.4.

May be related to thread http://forum.proxmox.com/threads/22697-Having-difficulty-selecting-the-CPU-Host-flag-for-a-VM?

Christophe.

Look at this post from our developer mailing list: http://pve.proxmox.com/pipermail/pve-devel/2015-August/016371.html
qemu 2.4 cannot be run nested on 2.3 or 2.2, AFAIK.

PVE4beta in PVE4beta works really good for me, also PVE3.4 in PVE4beta, fyi.
