I have a 2-CPU license of Proxmox 3.4 which I want to move from one server to another. The original server will be reformatted with a different OS. At the moment, the original server has the licence, and the new server is unlicensed, and I have them in a cluster from which I will remove the original one.

it's quite easy like I learned some weeks before
Go on https://shop.maurer-it.com in your account - select the right subscription and do an "new ..." (i have only german).
Then aktivate the key on the new server and voila - this server get the subscription.

yes login to the account like udo suggested and go to Services >> My Services
There you should see all your subscriptions listed. Next to the one you want to move click on View Details, then you should see a green button reissue. Once you click it you will be able to reuse the licence on a new server or on a new installation of Proxmox on the same hardware. I have done that and it works very well.
