Hi,

I have been following guide: https://github.com/isc30/ryzen-7000-series-proxmox and have been successful to pass-through the igpu to win10 vm with audio, however after some additional tinkering (my bad for not logging the changes) I seem to have lost the audio device in the host.

Have anyone else encountered this problem and how should I rectify this?

Firstly your link is inaccessible as it has an extra semi-colon (";") at the end. Remove it.

Secondly, AFAIK once you pass-through that device to the VM it will "disappear" from the host.

If for some reason its not coming back / passing it back after closing the VM, I see on the site you have used a link concerning that issue:
Install RadeonResetBugFix service to make sure the GPU can be transferred properly to the host after stopping the VM. If this is not done, you will suffer from the famous "AMD Reset Bug".

Please note I don not use any of the above & have never tried it.
