Hello,
i'm quite new in proxmox, and I have two server hp proliant dl380 G6 with 8 disk in raid 5 with one spare (on both). My goal is to make them the more failure tolerant possible.

So I wanted to know few things:
- is it possible to make them run in "mirror mode" ? Like raid 1 but for server, if the proxmox 1 go down, proxmox 2 take over.
- Can i add a computer to do quorum for HA cluster, since it don't have the same disk storage and configuration overall ?
- In Ha cluster, one of the server goes down, the vm running on it will restart on the operating one, but on the vm user perspective, there will be a lag spike ? or he will be disconnect and then reconnect ?

ps: as you can probably see, english is not my nativ language, be kind =)

Best regards

Hi,
for HA you need at least 3 Servers (although one can be really low-end) and a shared storage. As you have local storage you're out of luck.
Even in a HA scenario the VM will be restarted on the other node so the User will be disconnected and the VMs will not be available for some minutes.

Regards,
Jonas
