Hi!
Im setting up a new server, and want to use more then just Truenas (like Pihole, plexserver, homeassisstant, vpn etc) so was looking at Proxmox.
I gonna use a HP Microserver Gen 8 with 16GB RAM and E3-1220LV2 CPU, I think thats enough for me. 4x3TB storage drives and a SSD for Proxmox/OS.

My biggest question is, can I migrate the ZFS RaidZ1 (running it from a raid controller that is flashed to IT-mode today with truenas) to Proxmox and still keep all my files? Or is it better to get new drives?

If you export the pool you will be able to import the pool onto proxmox. You may have permissions issues on the new system unless you mirror the user IDs but the files and data will be intact.
