Hi All

Just thought someone else might find this usefull

I wanted to get the megaraid storage manager working on Proxmox.

So I first used this
http://hwraid.le-vert.net/wiki/DebianPackages
From them I installed the Megacli

To get the megacli Installed

Then I used
13.01.04.00_Linux_x64_MSM.tar.gz

(extract it to a folder)

And then used Alien to convert the RPMs to Debs

alien --scripts *.rpm

Then just installed the files
dpkg --install lib-utils2_1.00-6_all.deb
dpkg -i megaraid-storage-manager_13.01.04-1_all.deb

Then I was able to connect to it.

Hope it helps someone

After this do we need to configure some thing, are do we need to start anything i and not able to connect from remote system.
can you help me

I know this is an old post but I just wanted to say this worked great. The cli tools are available in a separate repo but I wanted the java app to have a gui to manage things. I just had to start the vivaldiframework but once I did, the ui could see the LSI card and I was able to silence the alarm and a disk back to the array.
