I'dd like to see the time and progress information on the LXC "task viewer" "progress" log.
When the dump starts the start time should be the first thing in the log from the start while the dump is in progress! This is especially important if we are backing up a large LXC container (say several TB.) How do you know when you started the backup? That information is only visible after the backup is complete.
How do you know if the dump has crashed? There is no progress information like there is in KVM backup?
Rsync has --progress2 option.
