I want to connect an existing iscsi lun to Proxmox. I added the iscsi target (successfully), but I couldn't access the data.

Does anybody know how can add an existing luns into proxmox? (am I missing someting?) and where for is the option "Use LUNs directly"?

hi @dcsapak

The iscsi target is in use on a vmware esxi platform. on this target there are 2 luns.

I added the iscsi target to proxmox by adding Datacenter => Storage => Add => iSCSI. Target showed up and saved.

I selected the option "Use LUNs directly".

after that a storage item was added to my datacenter tree. when I click on it, no data will be received.

when I try to add an LVM, I can select the iSCSI target but no base is received.

If I remove the "Use LUNs directly", I can't save the target.

The iscsi target is in use, so there is not much room for error. :(
