Is this kernel bug fixed in 1.9?

There is a bug that has been affecting our pre 1.9 kernels:

It occurs at random roughly after 200+ days of uptime.

It is fixed in the latest Ubuntu kernel/debian kernel but I know we switched kernel versions. Has it been fixed in the redhat version?

This is a pretty serious bug since it causes a kernel panic every 200 days or so.

Because I have seen our systems crash/hang with it over and over in the last year? And when it does a dump the stacktrace matches that particular bug and its symptoms.
