Hi,

I try to qmrestore a machine (win2008) from the console:

Code:
root@proxmox:/var/lib/vz/dump# qmrestore vzdump-qemu-114-2013_02_11-02_00_01.tar
extracting archive '/var/lib/vz/dump/vzdump-qemu-114-2013_02_11-02_00_01.tar.gz'
extracting 'qemu-server.conf' from archive
extracting 'vm-disk-virtio0.raw' from archive
Formatting '/var/lib/vz/images/114/vm-114-disk-1.raw', fmt=raw size=32768
new volume ID is 'local:114/vm-114-disk-1.raw'
restore data to '/var/lib/vz/images/114/vm-114-disk-1.raw' (268435456000 bytes)

Code:
total 41693
24928258 drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 1 Feb 15 19:55 .
24928257 drwxr-xr-x 6 root root 1 Jan 7 23:39 ..
24928259 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 61540 Feb 15 20:37 vm-114-disk-1.raw

It is running since about 3 h, is this correct ? How much time will it take ?

Can i debug something ... ?

OK, I used the night to restore the machine, now its running again ...

I can remember it was faster with qcow instead of raw, do you agree ?

If yes should I convert it from raw to qcow and how can I co this ?

Output:
Code:
root@proxmox:~# lsof | grep vm-114-disk-1.raw
kvm 81933 root 17u REG 253,2 268435456000 24928259 /var/lib/vz/images/114/vm-114-disk-1.raw

Code:
root@proxmox:~# df -kh /var/lib/vz
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/pve-data 394G 318G 77G 81% /var/lib/vz
