[SOLVED] Is it possible to mount a zfs snapshot/clone?

Hi,

I've looked around but can't find a great answer for this question: is it possible to mount a zfs snapshot/clone in a container or VM? If I try, pcttells me that it can't parse the volume name. pvesm listdoesn't show the cloned dataset.

I'm planning for recovery scenarios and want to practice restoring a file.

I figured it out. From looking at the source code, the clone has to match the regex found here
https://github.com/proxmox/pve-stor...cb1cb54d524/PVE/Storage/ZFSPoolPlugin.pm#L106

So I was able to mount it by having "subvol-" in the beginning of the zfs clone name
