Interrupted backups, .vma.dat files and .tmp folders

Hi, unfortunately a couple of time our systems goes down during the backups. Using shell I'v noticed now that there are some .vma.dat file and some folder .tmp in the backup/dump folder. Can I delete these files and folders?

Yes, these are temporary files that are normally cleaned up after a backup. So these .tmp directories and .dat files are safe to remove.
