Hi guys,

I am wondering, is it possible to create an internal repo server for enterprise updates?

All our hosts are internal. Only a brige is connected to the external network. We have an internal repo server. is it possible to collect the updates into the repo server and update all the hosts internally?

Is this a technical or a legal question?

Technically, this is no problem and should work with with debmirror. It uses the same underlying techniques as apt.

this is a technical question. its not about setting-up illegal servers :)

I think it is not easy possible. The first thing is, after some time your PVEhost is offline, the licence is gone. So you must update your licence from CMD again with internet. We have also internal updateservers, but not for the PVEhosts. It is a problem for you that you give the PVEhosts the way to the internet?

These problems are the reason for my question. The reason why they are not directly connected to the internet is security. our internal network is only accessible by VPN.

why don´t you just use a http proxy?
