Hi,
I had an strange effect today. On an new system (supermicro amd server) with an Intel quad port X710 the NIC don't appear after the updates from today (but the updates has nothing to do with kernel/firmware?!)
lspci don't show the nic!
Powerycle -> the same
boot pve-rescue from the actual pve-install usb-stick -> network is working!
update_initramfs and reboot -> nic not visible.
Downgrade pve-manager + pve-qemu-kvm -> network is working! Ok, issue found! But…
Upgrade both again and the Nic is still working!?!?
Network is working now, but I don't know why… or better don't know why it's doesn't work the whole time.
BTW. the supermicro bios is up to date.
Perhaps anybody has an idea or similiar effects.
Udo
