Dear Proxmox Community,
actually I have the problem, many times discussed here, I know.
I want to passthrough my Intel HD 4000 from i7 3770 Processor. The PC is running on Proxmox 6.4 with 4 or 5 VMs and I want to passthrough the intel IGD to a W2008R2 VM, also tested with W10 VM.
It actually successful is passing through:
the onboard Intel Lan Controller
a rockedraid PCIe RAID controller
a digital devices satellite reciever card PCIe
and the intel HD audio to get sound to my HT Reciever.
All works absolutely stable since months.
I already tested to disable_vga (boot screen stalls before switching to high resolution)
put the intel igd to the vfio driver
blacklist the i915 and the other drivers mentioned in other posts.
The guest was set to Q35 and i440
bios and efi
qemu 5.2 and 3.1
I already dumped vga bios and attached pointed on the bin file
connected a Monitor to the DVI and HDMI port
When I first start the VM after booting the stalled boot screen from proxmox disappear and in the log I get "failed getting region info for vga region index 8".
When I disable xvga then machine boots but is not able to load driver...
please, any suggestions?
